10 Halloween Safety Tips
It’s Halloween-time! This SPOOKY holiday has always been one of our favorites. Stay safe this Halloween season with these helpful Halloween safety tips.

- Make sure kids trick r’ treat with a trusted adult in safe areas that are well-lit.
- Stick to areas that you know and stay alert.
- Reflective clothing is a MUST. Wearing shiny accessories will keep you and the kids seen and safe. Reflective tape can also be placed on trick r’ treat bags for added visibility.
- Make ID cards for your kids that they can keep in their pocket.
- Establish a curfew. By doing so, you set boundaries that your kids can respect. It also gets them back home and safe by a certain specified time so you can get some sleep!
- Stay cool with water. Under all those costumes and in all the excitement, it can get hot!
- Inspect candy before allowing kids to eat. It’s best to only keep candy that’s still completely sealed.
- Keep your home locked up while you’re out of it and trick r’ treating.
- Make sure to pack flashlights and/ or glow sticks to ensure that you stay seen by drivers.
- Don’t ever text while you’re walking about the neighborhood trick r’ treating—it’s dangerous to take your eyes off of your surroundings.
