2023 Honda Accord Highlighted Specs & Features

The Honda lineup is packed with icons, as many of their vehicles have been around for decades. None have been around as long as the legendary Honda Accord, though. The Accord dates back to 1976, when it was a compact sedan for its first decade and a half. Every few years, Honda would redesign and improve the Accord, building it up to be one of the best midsize sedans on the market. This year, the 2023 Honda Accord enters its eleventh generation, being completely redesigned yet again as an all-new and improved model hits the road. What’s new for 2023?

The next-generation Accord has been redesigned to introduce a much sleeker overall aesthetic from the outside, as well as a modernized and sportier interior. The exterior introduces a much broader stance, while the inside features high-quality materials and a much more premium feel throughout. Speaking of the interior, perhaps one of the most exciting new features found in the 2023 Accord is its new display audio screen. In base trim levels it’s a standard 7” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality plus more, but in higher trims its size is increased to 12.3” – which is the largest ever featured in a Honda vehicle.

The biggest improvements this year, however, came in the Accord Hybrid. While the traditional Accord will only be available in LX and EX trim levels, the hybrid will offer Sport, EX-L, Sport-L and Touring trim levels all featuring its updated hybrid-electric powertrain. The new powertrain not only improves performance by 2 horsepower and 15 pound-feet of torque (204 hp, 247 lb-ft.), but it actually improves fuel economy ratings as well.
