2024 Honda CR-V Available Trim Levels & Powertrains

The Honda CR-V has long been one of the most popular models on the brand’s lineup, so we’re always pleased to see enhancements to the vehicle, whether widespread or small. With the new six-generation CR-V having just been rolled out last year, not much needed to change this year. Even still, the 2024 Honda CR-V will be available with a brand-new trim level. With that in mind, we thought we’d just give you the rundown on all of the available trim levels & powertrains in which the new compact crossover will be available.

Traditional Gasoline Trims

Let’s kick things off with the traditional gasoline powertrain, which consists of a 1.5L turbocharged engine tethered to a continuously variable transmission system. The engine is capable of generating 190 horsepower alongside 179 pound-feet of torque, which is plenty of power to deliver a fun, sporty driving experience. There will be six different configurations across three total trim levels for shoppers to choose from if they want the gas-powered CR-V. The available trims are the LX, EX and EX-L, with each being available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Hybrid Electric Trims

Alternatively, some shoppers might prefer to opt for the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid. These models are powered by a recently updated hybrid system, which combines a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a pair of large electric motors to generate 204 hp alongside 247 lb-ft. of torque. The CR-V Hybrid will be available in five different configurations, also with three total trim levels. The base Sport trim and brand-new Sport-L trim are both available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, while the top-of-the-line Sport Touring trim level is only available with AWD.

New Sport-L Trim Level

The brand-new Sport-L trim has been described as “exceptionally well-equipped,” as it is packed full of premium content that certainly comes close to what’s available in the Sport Touring model. This includes things like leather seats, a passenger seat that can be power adjusted, a powered tailgate and parking sensors in the front and rear of the vehicle.
