4 Futuristic Honda Concept Cars

Most people are familiar with Honda, and the cars they currently have on the market. In fact, Accord, Civic, and CRV are practically household names. However, did you know that Honda has several concept cars that they would one day like to see roaming the streets? Many of their brilliant ideas are scheduled for release to the open roads soon.  Check out these four futuristic Honda concept cars.

Clarity Fuel Cell

This first concept car is getting close to becoming a car out on the road, and in fact, you will see the Clarity Fuel Cell during the winter of 2016. This super concept car features zero emissions because of its exciting fuel cell technology. It is powered by hydrogen and oxygen. The exterior of this car is similar to what you would imagine a futurist Accord to look like, and the interior has more room than the Accord. It also features a lot of technology such as Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto. Watch out America, the future of Honda is here.

Concept C

The futuristic Concept C is now scheduled for release in China later this year. This is a car that is comparable in size to somewhere between the a midsize and a compact. It is being built for the Chinese market and thus it is unclear what features it will have. However, from the exterior, it looks like an Acura, with its chiseled lines and raised rear. Currently, Honda has no plans for the Concept C to be released in the United States, but you never know what the future will bring.

Concept S

For years, the Toyota Prius has gone unrivaled, but don’t be surprised if its competition shows up on roads soon as the Honda Concept S. The Concept S is a compact hatchback with a hybrid engine. It has an aerodynamic design and plenty of room beneath the hatch for your cargo. Up front, you will notice that the hood slopes down making it seem as if the grille is smiling and showcasing its LED headlights. At the rear, bracketing in the hatchback door, are the LED tail lights with a unique design. As of now, this car is also planned to release in China, and it is unclear whether it will make its way to the streets of the United States.

Motorcycle-Car Concept

This last concept car is surprising, yet very fitting for Honda. Honda makes both motorcycles and cars so why not add a Motorcycle-Car to the list. This concept car looks like a racecar, but it has an open top like a motorcycle. It has a motorcycle four-stroke V4 engine that generates 212 horsepower. Its lightweight body allows it to get up to speed very quickly. It only seats two people, but in what is comparable to a go-cart that is legal for the roads, you only need two seats.

So, while you may love the current Honda models, you must admit that you are a little excited about seeing these concept cars in person. Keep you eyes open, listen for Honda announcements, and get ready for the future of Honda!
