HondaTrue CPO Program

Here at Rairdon’s Honda of Burien, we provide the HondaTrue Certified Pre-Owned Program. This comes in two different varieties, HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+. We wanted to go down the list of things you get when you purchase a used Honda vehicle from us here, comparing these two varieties against what you get from a regular, non-CPO HondaTrue Used vehicle. For starters, we should highlight potential model years. HondaTrue Used models can date back to 2012, while Certified models can only go back to 2017 and Certified+ just to 2021.

Let’s kick things off with warranties. When purchasing a regular HondaTrue Used vehicle, you’ll get two different warranties. The first is a Powertrain Warranty, which is valid for 100 days or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first. The second is a Non-Powertrain Warranty which lasts the same amount of time. Both Certified and Certified+ models increase the Powertrain Warranty to seven years or 100,000 miles. Some further differentiation comes into the Non-Powertrain Warranty, which is the one thing that sets apart Certified from Certified+.

HondaTrue Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles provide a Non-Powertrain Warranty dependent on when the vehicle was purchased. If the model was purchased within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty Period, then it extends the warrant to four years or 48,000 miles. If the vehicle was purchased after this warranty has already expired, then you’ll gain the benefits of a Honda Certified Vehicle Limited Warranty of one year or 12,000 miles. Since HondaTrue Certified+ models can only be purchased from the last two model years, it is still within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty period. Your Non-Powertrain Warranty will be valid for five years or 86,000 miles.

One other benefit valid for both Certified and Certified+ is that you’ll receive up to two complimentary oil changes within your first year of ownership, whereas HondaTrue Used only provides one. Regardless of which option you choose, you’ll also receive the following benefits:
