Now that the all-new, next-generation 2023 Honda HR-V has officially arrived here at Rairdon’s Honda of Burien, we’re more excited than ever about the subcompact crossover. The vehicle was completely redesigned as it entered its third generation ahead of the 2023 model year, receiving a totally overhauled exterior & interior design and a host of other updates and enhancements. We wanted to take another look at our entry-level crossover this month to get you as excited as we are about the fact that it’s now available, so we thought we’d highlight some of the key features & technologies found throughout the vehicle.

Highlighted Standard & Available Features
In addition to the updated styling both inside and out, which we touched on in a different blog recently, there are a host of exciting features both standard and available in the vehicle. For example, the all-new HR-V will come standard with both a 7” digital instrumentation display and a 7” display audio screen. The latter provides compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but it can be upgraded to an available high-definition 9” system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
When it comes to the vehicle’s inner workings, it features a new fully independent rear suspension system and a larger 2.0L engine that’s also more responsive than its predecessors. Things like Hill Descent Control and the available Real Time All-Wheel Drive system with Intelligent Control make sure that your driving experience is a good one each time you hit the road.
Safety is a huge concern when it comes to automobiles, with today’s market being rife with advanced driver-assistance systems. Honda Sensing comes standard in the new HR-V, offering updates to the previous suite of technologies including a new front wide-view camera and two new features: Traffic Jam Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition. Safety is further enhanced by the addition of new airbags, including a front occupant knee and rear passenger side-impact.
What is the Honda ZR-V?
Just in case you’ve heard the term ZR-V while doing research for which vehicle you might purchase next, we thought we’d help you get to the bottom of this vehicle that doesn’t seem to be on the lineup here at Honda of Burien. In truth, it is, as the Honda ZR-V is the name of the new, next-generation HR-V in other global markets like Japan and China. We’re stoked that more people the world over will be able to enjoy this incredible subcompact crossover, but are a little jealous of the cool name it gets elsewhere.
